Aircel slashes iPhone 3GS to Rs 9,999

Aircel announced that it has cut the price of iPhone 3GS from Rs 19,999 to Rs 9,999. Aircel subscribers can pay an additional Rs 3,000 upfront to get unlimited data (2G/3G depending on 3G availability in the circle) for a one year. These are factory unlocked iPhone 3GS units, which means users can use it on any GSM network.

At this price, i believe that the iPhone 3GS would compete with sub-Rs 10,000 Android smartphones. The iPhone 3GS was launched way back in 2009, yet, it will be getting the latest iOS 6 upgrade in fall this year. I think this is the best time for iOS to enter the Indian smartphone market and make an impact.

Key Specifications:

  • 3.5-inch display with a resolution of 320×480 pixels
  • 800MHz Cortex A8 processor under-clocked to 600MHz
  • 3.15-megapixel camera
  • Voice memos
  • 256MB of RAM
  • 8GB storage

LG Spectrum Review: Head-To-Head With The Nitro HD And Galaxy Nexus

TechCrunch

The LG Spectrum isn’t necessarily my favorite phone. It’s got pretty nice specs and a killer screen, but there’s something to be said about the way a phone draws you in from across the room. I don’t mean to get all romantic or dramatic about it, but it’s still true: appearance matters. Windows Phones have that engaging, compelling live tile interface. The iPhone has its stunning design and piano black shine. Motorola’s Razr has that crazy thin profile, and Samsung has the ultimate combo in the form of its Galaxy series: giant, gorgeous screens with beautiful design.

LG doesn’t really have that, and this is particularly apparent on the Spectrum. I’ve been spending the past few weeks with it (full review to follow), and despite the fact that it’s pretty slick, has a gorgeous display, and packs badass specs, I can’t get over the fact that it’s ugly.

But…

DND

Today in this post I will tell you how you can activate and deactivate DND on your mobile number. If you are many promotion Calls and SMSs on your mobile number and wont to stop those messages you need to active DND (Do Not Disturb) on your mobile number. So here are two ways by which you can active or deactivate DND on your mobile number.

If you fully want to active DND on your mobile number phone just send an SMS “START DND” to “1909” or you can also call “1909” and if you can want to fully deactivate (stop) DND, you just need to send an SMS “STOP DND” to “1909” or you can call to “1909”.

If you want to active or deactivate DND for a specific industry you need to send SMS to “1909” with the detail give below

“START 1” for receiving SMS relating to Banking/Insurance/Financial Products/Credit Cards
“START 2” for receiving SMS relating to Real Estate
“START 3” for receiving SMS relating to Education
“START 4” for receiving SMS relating to Health
“START 5” for receiving SMS relating to Consumer Goods and Automobiles
“START 6” for receiving SMS relating to Communication/Broadcasting/Entertainment/IT
“START 7” for receiving SMS relating to Tourism and Leisure

If you want to active or deactivate DND for more than one industry, so you can stop or start receiving Calls and SMSs from those industries, you don’t need to send SMS as many SMS, in as many industries you are interested in. For e.g.: If you are interested in Education and Health so you can simply send a SMS “START 3,4” to “1909” and you have already active Real Estate, Education and Health, now you want to stop receiving Calls and SMSs from Real Estate and Health simply send a SMS “STOP 2,4” to “1909” and you will not receive any Calls or SMSs from them.

Note: –
All SMS should be written in capital letters (in upper case)
Your DND will get active or deactivate in seven days
If you received any Call or SMS after the request of seven days for activation of DND, you may call “1909” and register a complain
All SMS and Calls to 1909 is toll-free, you will be not charged anything for this number.

iphone 4s review(first on youtube)

The good: Apple’s iPhone 4S has a faster processor and an upgraded camera, all the benefits of iOS 5, and a useful and immensely fun voice assistant. Call quality on the Sprint model is admirable, and the data speeds, while certainly not 4G, get the job done.

The bad: It’s about time we get a larger screen.

The bottom line: The iPhone 4S isn’t the king of cell phones, but it’s part of the royal family nonetheless. Even without 4G and a giant screen, this phone’s smart(ass) voice assistant, Siri, the benefits of iOS 5, and its spectacular camera make it a top choice for anyone ready to upgrade
